Jim has been part of this community for decades, working tirelessly to make it a better place. He has served on the following boards: City of Elma Mayor 8 years, Elma City Council 4 years, Grays Harbor Transit Board 4 years, E-911 Board 8 years, Grays Harbor Council of Governments 8 years (5 years as chair), Elma School District CTE Advisory Board 8+ years, Fraternal Order of Eagles Past Worthy President 2013-2014, Grays Harbor Homeless Housing Task Force (Chair) 2024.
